Aquaculture Farms

At Camaroe Berhad, we're dedicated to producing superior black tiger prawns through a sustainable and controlled farming process. We source high-quality post-larvae from reputable local hatcheries, ensuring a healthy start for our prawns.

Our farming practices incorporate both batch and full harvesting techniques; batch harvesting allows us to selectively harvest prawns that have reached optimal size, while full harvesting ensures efficient use of our ponds.

This precise management of growth cycles, combined with meticulous monitoring of water quality and environmental conditions, yields prawns of exceptional quality and flavour, ready for our processing facility.

Our farms operate in compliance with recognised food safety and aquaculture standards, including myGAP, HACCP, and GMP certifications, underscoring our commitment to producing safe, premium-quality prawns for international markets.

Camaroe Berhad Facility Locataions

Camaroe Berhad's prawn farming operation comprises 138 saltwater ponds spread across five strategically located coastal farms in Terengganu, Selangor, and Pahang. These farms utilise a model of efficient pond management to maximise yields and ensure consistent product quality.

Tanjung Karang Farm 1

Our first and flagship farm in Tanjung Karang comprises 16 active prawn ponds spanning 40 acres in Kuala Selangor, equipped with advanced water management systems and a dedicated quality control laboratory.

Penor Farm

Partnering with SWL Enterprise, our Penor Farm in Kuantan, Pahang cultivates premium black tiger prawns across 75 acres, prioritising quality and sustainable methods.

Tanjung Karang Farm 2

Our Tanjung Karang Farm 2 in Kuala Selangor features 27 ponds across 60 acres, supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure including reservoirs, a wastewater treatment system, and a dedicated quality control area.

Our Tanjung Karang Farm 3 in Kuala Selangor spans 120 acres and houses 41 prawn ponds. Equipped with advanced water management systems and on-site quality control facilities, it supports the production of premium black tiger prawns.

Our 86-acre Marang Farm in Terengganu, operated in partnership with RISB Bhd, plays a key role in the production of high-quality black tiger prawns. With 31 ponds and modern facilities, it supports efficient and sustainable farming practices.
